فيلم واقعي, جرئ, يستحق المشاهدة و المناقشة, فهو يعرض شريحة عريضة من" شباب اليومين دول" بمختلف مشاكلهم و اهتمامتهم , وقضاياهم الشائكة, شباب مننا و بيننا , لا يمكن اغفالهم, فهم بناة المستقبل اذا صح تأسيسهم, و من هنا تأتي المشكلة

القصة
ثلاثة من شباب الجامعة.... و علاقاتهم النسائية و العاطفية و الاصدقاء
حازم: ابيه طبيب شهير, امه سيدة مجتمع ... الفلوس من غير حساب , يحب صديقته منة.. و انت تعرف الباقي
عمرو : طالب بكلية الهندسة التي لا يحبها, يرغب في التحويل لأعلام, لكن ابيه المتزوج من غير امه يريد ان يفتخر بابنه المهندس
احمد: من اسرة بسيطة: ابيه صارم ,حازم, واقفله في الرايحة و الجاية, و يحاسبه ع الصغيرة و الكبيرة.. احمد يحب مي التي من اجلها مستعد للتغير

يجتمع الثلاثة في السهرات الخاصة , و شرب الخمور, و المخدرات, السفر لمارينا , الامتحانات اللي ميعرفوش عنها حاجة

-منة: ترتدي الحجاب يوم, و تخلعه الاخر, كلما تواجه ازمة نفسية ترتديه, لكن بلا اقتناع
-مي: الشخصية المتزنة الوحيدة في الفيلم , تحاول اصلاح احمد, هي صريحة, واضحة, مستقيمة

فقد الهوية

مشكلة الشباب الثلاثة و منة و اخرين من اصحابهم و الشلة , هي فقدهم للهوية, الذبذبة واضحة في تصرفاتهم
منة تستمع الي شريطين تلاتة لعمرو خالد, وان الصحوبية حرام, فتتحجب, ثم تقيم حفلة عيد ميلادها و لكن دون الحجاب, عشان الجو حر و شكلها مش حلو
طارق, صديقهم, تدين فجأة, قال لا للنسوان و السجاير و المخدرات, و بيصلي و يقرأ قران, ثم رجعت ريما لعادتها القديمة

علي لسان احد الابطال , يقول ان التدين و الاصلاح من النفس يجب ان يكون تدريجي, حتي يتعود علي المواظبة للصلاة, و التقرب من الله بشكل صحيح , بس مايخدش موضوع الدين قفش كدة- كما قال

المشكلة التي اراها هي فقدهم للمثل الاعلي, لم يجد اي من هؤلاء الشباب مثل يحتذي به
احمد , اللي ابوه بيذله بأخيه الاكبر اللي من الاوائل, هذا الاخ الاكبر لم يجد اي عمل الي الان...فهل تطالب احمد ان يري امل في بكرة؟
و احد الاصدقاء يحكي عن الاب الذي يمتلك شقة بها بار خاص بجميع انواع الخمور, و يذهب لها اصحاب ابنه...هل هذا مثال يحتذي به؟

الحب
الحب ضائع, تائه, في تلك الحياة القاسية, كل هؤلاء يفتقدون الحب, الحب الذي هو الدافع للامل
لا اتحدث عن الحب بين الولد و البنت, انما حب الاب لابنه, الاخ لصديقه,. في وقت كان اي من هؤلاء الشباب علي شفا ازمة مدمرة , لا يجد الدفئ في الحب
الاب , يطرد ابنه لاكتشافه اخطائه
الام, لا تعبأ بما يفعله ابنها
الاخت, لا تهتم بمؤازرة اختها في قرارها و تذبذها تجاه الحجاب

التعليم

شباب جامعة, يبقي لازم فيه سيرة تعليم و اللي بيتعلموه, المدرج المزدحم, الامتحانات. حتي ذكر الجامعات الخاصة, و كم التسيب و الاستهتار الموجود بين هؤلاء الشباب
تظهر فتاتين بالقميص اللبني و الجيبة الكحلي , قالت احداهن انهن من مدرسة الاورمان في تانية ثانوي, و ذهبن الي السينما في احد الحفلات الصباحية, و الصف الاخير , بجوار الشباب!!!
! التهرب من الدراسة !!!
الوظائف التي لابد ان تطلب من المتقدمين المعرفة بالكمبيوتر و اللغات....شئ لا يتوفر لدي الجميع, فيتخرج ليري سوق العمل يطلب منه نسيان ما تعلمه,, و ان يتعلم من اول و جديد

في مشهد الضابط ابو احد الشباب الذي اخرجهم من الحجز في لمح البصر
في توافر المخدرات و الخمور , وفتيات الليل
في الواسطة, يلجأ عمرو للتدريب بالجورنال, بواسطة من خاله, فلا يتعلم شيئا و لا يستفيد, و الموظف هناك يقوله ارتاح انته و خدلك سيجارة

صلاة الجنازة – فكرة صل قبل ان يصلي عليك

يسقط علي الارض, زجاجات الخمر مهشمة, يختلط الدم بالخمر, يرتعد, و يردد: انا خايف..خايف اقابله
من اصعب المشاهد التي قدمت في الفيلم.... انها الصفعة لكل الشباب ليفيقوا من حياة الملذات..
يقفز الثلاثة الي التدين, المسجد, الصلاة, الدروس الدينية
لكن دوام الحال من المحال
وتأتي النهاية معبرة لتلك المقولة
نري الشباب الثلاثة في الملاهي, في لعبة الساقية, معلقين في الهواء, ينادوا علي من هم علي الارض ليمدوا لهم يد المساعدة, لكن لا من مجيب, يصرخوا ,يعدوا انهم لن يتحدثوا بصراحة عن الحقيقة المرة
شباب المستقبل, معلقين في الهواء, مفتقدين الحب , المساعدة, الامان, التوجيه, الدين, الايمان

الواقعية
الجميل حقا في الفيلم, هي واقعيته

طالب الهندسة الذي يعترف ان البنات عنده "غفر"- مع احترامي لاخواتنا اللي في طلبة هندسة
و الكثيييييييير و الكثيييييييييييير..كلام ان لم تكن تقوله, فانه يصل الي اسماعك
اشياء صغيرة, عرضت بخفة و تلاقة و تلقائية, لكن ذات مغزي

This Movie is very down to earth…expressing the grim reality! Unfortunetly a reality that exists!!
So don't lend a blind eye! see, and touch this reality!

التمثيل جميل بجد, المجموعة كلها كانت اكثر من رائعة, الفيلم قد يمثل صدمة للمشاهد بواقعيته, انما يأخذهم من حياة القصور الزائفة بالمسلسلات الهبلة, الكوميديا البايخة, و ان الدنبا بمبي, يأخذهم الي ارض الواقع, الذي حاولنا ان نصم اذاننا عنه, ونزكم انوفنا عن رائحته .......الموسيقي و الاخراج و الاغنية الاخيرة لمروان خوري (دواير) بالفيلم من اشعار عبد الرحمن الابنودي, الجميع يستحق ان نرفع لهم القبعة....بالرغم من المشاهد الساخنة بالفيلم.... الا انها موظفة لسير الدراما و القصة, فالفيلم قصة مش مناظر

Syriana: Everything Connected!

A phrase that you'll read on the Poster of the film! I Looked at it...while I was ushered in...and with the first moment in the film..I knew that this phrase will be our guide out to interpret this Oscar -winning film!
I wondered a lot about the meaning of "Syriana" till I reached this one " It’s a CIA code name for a highly unstable geopolitical situation, a place where you find the largest oil reserves. It’s a place populated by unemployed educated professionals, extremely poor laborers who often turn into fundamentalists and terrorists with nothing to lose. It’s a small group of countries ruled by thugs and fanatics, and subject to the ruthless intrusions of world powers. Greedy corporations and all types of high level flimflam executives are willing to do anything to get a piece of the black gold"

Everything is connected: Tahran, USA, Beirut, The Gulf.............!

Everything is Connected: Arab princes, CIA agents, Hezbollah leaders, oil executives, Islamic terrorists......!

The film runs in different tracks that you have to trace them,,,and fill in the gap!

Two Arab princes rivaling over the rule over the country : America's puppet...and the other is Reformer who wishes to grant his people liberty and freedom........No need to say that the latter is imposing '' a threat " on you US. Policies in the Middle East and in particular, Oil map!

A blinded CIA agent, Bob (George Clooney), planted in Muslim and Arab countries to kill , to break through their security systems!

A Pakistani , Wasim , is dismissed from his work now due to the Oil contract with a Chinese company.. He is now nurtured by Islamic terrorist, a Blue-eyed Egyptian (Amr Waked) ,,with him..he finds the weapon as his ultimate goal of life..and you know the rest!

An explosion ~ in the middle of the sea...you won't see a single blood drop...but the explosion echoes and Wasim's blood states the the horrible fact!

He ends a video tape.. reading his will........and More Wasims are watching it!

Bob, the CIA agent, discovers the illusionary world he's been living in...and how US policies "nurtured " him with false slogans.......and he dies in an attempt to save the Arab Prince whom CIA kills!

Bob is killed by friend fire......

Wasim is alsokilled by a friend weapon..whom Islamic terrorist got from Bob himself........!

See?! Everything is really connected!!!!

N.B> The movie is really worth watching....it bears more than what I alluded to of course..especially the interwoven tales of Oil industry....! "The film will get under your skin....and stay with you longer"...so....if you fear to get messed up....and in need of answers..and afraid to fall into depression and then revoLting and crying "Enough"...an advice : watch Pink Panther instead...:)

Just watched Spielberg's Munich last Friday! instigated by The Jewish
perspective the movie is handled with!

well...I won't speak about pictures and production,,,,and the technical
part, enough to say it's a spielberg's movie...But what does a Jewish
director want to say through his movie introducing such an important
incident in Palestinian-Isreali Cause. What does he intend to say at this
particular time?!

well....what he wants to say or Spielberg's solution to the world was
presented in one scene where the Israeli agents undercover, in a flat in
Greece, sharing it with Arabs and they have to stay for a while together! in
This scene one of the Arabs turn on the Radio on an Arabic oriental tune!
Steve, the Israeli, changes the channel to another one (Hebrew I think or
Greek), and they go On LIKE this, changing the channels ! Till...they are
face to face and the radio in between, steve chooses an English song and The
Arab one smiles agreeing! It is Settlement!.....in his view!

Spielberg goes to show the "humane" side of Israeli agent, Avner who refuses
to Kill the little girl and the teenager boy and just thinks his mission
will end by the assaisanation of the list he has! but...the blood cycle
never ends

"It will have blood; they say blood will have blood" (Macbeth)

Avner acts like a machine gun, killing with no reason, just because one is a
Palestinian or a leader!

Yet, just as Shakespeare provides his Tragic hero with ghosts to disturb
their sleep and rouse their conscience,, Avner's ghosts were in his head,
haunting him; each he killed in some way or other ( a bomb in phone, or
under his bed, or in TV set) , frightened he is, Avner in a climactic scene
is haunted by his killing thoughts! till he ends up sleeping in a closet!


he is homeless, though he has Israel! but he said it to his wife: you are my
home! he doesn't even care if they are out of Israel..he doesn't feel secure
there! this is beautifully contrasted with a scene between Ali (an Arab
patriot) and Avner! Avner asked Ali : do you miss the olive tree in your
counrty and those "trifles" , Ali just anwered "absolutely"...it is those
"trifles" that Avner himself misses!

Trying to wash his hands that are soaking in blood, (but very late) Avner
asked about justifications for the killing of those Palestinians, but he
receives no evidence! and this doesn't rest his distrubed soul!

Spielberg wanted to show the human not the butcher israeli! but I can't
sympathise,,nor anyone of us will!

Spielberg showed the brutality of how the Isreali athletes were killed! yet,
don't they kill everyday innocent children, armless , on their way to
school!

Avner can't find his home! and his child won't know her real home! but he
gave up and succumb to the disturbing atmosphere surrounding him! Yet, Ali
and his companions and all those now fighting on the Plalestinian
territories want their land back! know what is home to them! concessions
won't be a solution! they fight for their home , their security, their right
to live!

I watched today "El Zoga el Thanya" for the brilliant Salah Mansour,,and Shukri Sarhan...and the lovely Soad Hosni..and Sana'a Gameel! I laughed at some parts... I was diving into this world...see and touch corruption !

But was this all for entertainment?! I don't think so....!

It's my pleasure to go on weekends to Cinema...On Thursday ...my best friend argues with me which film we'll choose......we meet..watch the film..then we give ourselves a moment to recollect what we have watched..what I think ..... what my reaction is...then......we'd sit down together...and deliver what I have absorbed ! what touched me most...!

Did the film I watch value the mentality of the spectator and address it? or is it just ridiculing his mind?!

Am I able to see through the writer's character...and the director's point of view? Or am I led astray?!

Didn't "leilet sokoot Baghdad" , "Dam el Ghazal", "Munich", "Syriana" have their effect on me?!
didn't they express a reality we're living in some way or another,,,,?!

Is the cinema just minimised to be a number of scenes...people moving....?!

Are Hollywood movies just a tool for entertaining the spoiled youth? was Fahernheit 9/11 so?!

I remember 6 years ago..I watched the cartoon feature film.."Chicken Run",,,and Mel Gibson was participating in that Movie...! It's about the American Chicken that comes to another farm...whose chicken wants freedom...so he tries to help them on their revolt ...and they mistakenly think he can teach them how to fly....the scenes on which he teaches them how to fly.,...and it's futile of course...is really comic...!

Wasn't that movie ridiculing the unbreakable image of the American hero...who is God-sent to the universe to grant liberty and freedom...?!

By the end of the movie...the Chicken had to depend on themselves not on the "false" hero..who needed help himself...!


Such films...either reflect the things they lack and their illusion...or their final resolution to unblind themselves and see what is going in the world around them~!

Didn't Spielberg..Redley Scott...Michael Moore....and others choose to show to the world their stance of what's going on around them?!

well...This is what instigates me to go and watch all sorts of movies and now....I will have to think about next week's movie :)
