My Epitaph

My Epitaph

Lonely was I in my cursed previous life.
Stronger am I now beneath this lovely tomb.
Life's but a play rehearsed once in the womb,
Replayed again till stabbed by a knife
And here lies my spirit to the day of doom.
May here know I the truest rest, not in the former gloom.
